Every four years I keep track of presidential candidates. I'm hardly unique in this, but I also try (as best I can) to keep track of lesser known parties and candidates. In previous elections I made use of search engines and web pages of minor parties.
This election cycle I found Ron Gunzburger's Politics1 page. I'll keep checking on this, but so far I'm impressed.
Ron's page is more extensive; I won't put someone on my page unless he or she has a web page, and Ron will. I also won't post broken links or web pages that clearly aren't devoted to the presidential campaign. I found in the last two cycles that any number of people announce their candidacy and appear to do nothing else.
In the last election I found that many candidates hosted their pages on services like GoDaddy, WordPress, etc. None of them were serious candidates. This time I found that, while all candidates use social media, many of these candidates use only Twitter or Facebook. I elected not to exclude them because they (at least) they do have a web presence. I reserve the right to continue to decide who is and is not included on this page.
Finally, I'll say the same thing Ron says: if I've missed someone, email me.
